Sorry to hear that Brian (Vaporman) is leaving. We'll be looking forward to regular reports from the Grand Junction area. I'm still stuck in Minnesota so I won't be able to attend :(

Wow! Sure are going to miss seeing those Trips, but in actuality, I've been going through withdrawal for quite awhile, Brian!!! Hopefully, you'll find some new Trips and have the time to share them with us once again....I may stop by just to bug you about that!!! :D

Grand Junction, cool! So were you also considering opportunities in say, Iowa or Mississippi? Seriously though, best of luck up there. I definitely enjoyed all the amazing places we visited over the past few years, maybe we'll cross paths again in some remote canyon! Todd

Best of the best to you Brian. I know we never met IP but we "kind of" did through HAZ over the years. Don't be a stranger around these parts and if I ever get to Grand Junction I'll look you up.

:)

Thanks guys! :) It's def beautiful and maybe over the cold winter if I'm not too busy skiing, mountaineering, and snow shoeing I'll find some time to catch up on the last 6 months worth of trips. ;) I still plan on meeting up with my AZ buddies once or twice a month to hit Southern Utah and Northern AZ, so I my trips won't be that much diff than where they currently are. In fact, last weekend we did a backpackaraftacanyoneering trip on the North Rim near Toroweap. I'll also mix in some mountain biking trips around Moab & GJ, alpine backpacking in the Rockies and San Juans, and maybe some snow shoeing and skiing this winter...

I may have moved to Colorado, but I'll def still be playing in the amAZingly beaUTiful southwest but now with more colorful Colorado mountains trips mixed in the schedule. :y:

Good luck! I lived in Grand Junction for a bit and worked for the Colorado Div. of Wildlife for twenty years in the Steamboat and Durango areas. There are so many stunningly beautiful trails to hike(and snowshoe) in Colorado that you could live there ten lifetimes and not experience them all. I don't know that you will have a whole bunch of time to come back to AZ with all of the amazing country to see in CO. Have fun.........
