The "Ogre's Den" near Tom's Thumb/East End ...

Has it been authoritatively decided what place is called the "Ogre's Den"? I few people (thanks to all) have indicated that the Ogre's Den is under the boulder at roughly (33.681991, -111.812396), but this place only has the graphic and "offerings" shown in the photo here
http://hikearizona.com/photo.php?ZIP=281276 and is unfurnished.
I was at (33.681991, -111.812396) yesterday and saw the graphic and more offerings, but no furniture.
My impression was that the Ogre's Den is the place that looks like/looked like this
http://hikearizona.com/photo.php?ZIP=281277 and this
http://hikearizona.com/photo.php?ZIP=16597 (a "furnished" place).
Can someone tell me which place (or maybe if another place) is called the "Ogre's Den"?
Also, can someone tell me where the furnished place is? coanbru told me that he thinks the furnished place "is up on East End Mountain somewhere," but he hasn't been to that place.
Also, a page on tripadvisor (
http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserRevi ... izona.html) implies that the den is
north of the Tom's Thumb Trail/East End Trail intersection [e.g., in the rocks around (33.680330, -111.804520)]. Yesterday afternoon as the sun was setting, I got to (33.680330, -111.804520) which is at the base of a bunch of boulders, but when I couldn't see anything promising from my position, I decided to head towards the trailhead rather than continue to burn daylight. Should I go back and search that thicket of boulders?

If it's the furnishings you're after, I would just save yourself the effort and check Craigslist.

Better picnic tables than that can be found for free!

Visited Ogre's Den today. Seems to be a popular place. Would be interesting to know the history of this place.

I uploaded a track for those who might have a hard time following the incredibly easy-to-follow use trail. ;)

Maybe I have been referring to the Den as the Ogre's Den when it is really a different one? I attempted to find the Ogre's Den a few years ago and found the one off of the Tom Thumb Trail and East End Trail (1/2 mile from the Thumb)....this cave has a picnic table, mining tools, an old oil stove, hammock, lanterns, etc....I placed a new log book there on Christmas day. I have many photos if anyone is interested. I would also be more than happy to lead you up there

Apparently the Ogre's Den has been cleared out?? No table or sandbags or "unidentified rusty crap" anymore...a friend sent me a pic, is it the same den...just empty.
Or is there another "den" nearby that's similar???
What gives?? Anyone wanna go investigate with me tomorrow?
Edit: ya know what the second pic she sent there's some sort of rock art, a blueish cardinal rose looking thing?
Definitely not the same den but that's what she was told its called by her friend...any ideas on where that one is??

The Ogre's Den and the Miners cave are still both there and still have the same items. the miners cave has the picnic table, oil stove (not working of course), sand bag bed, old miners tools, kerosene lanterns, the new log book I just placed there on Christmas Day.....the ogres Den (on the opposite side of the Thumb Mountain, is also still there....many trinkets still there, geo-casch book, log book, etc. I was just there at both yesterday (01/25/2014) and took down some trash from the miners cave.

@GWojton
so the popular one we all visit after hitting East End peak is the Miner's Cave? So confusing. I didn't know there was a second one that looked so similar (at first anyway) very neat, thanks!

Miner's Cave (some call the Ogre's Den) (See GWojton's photos, just above - the one with the table, bed, etc.) was cleaned out last year ('16) by (presumably) the silly folks in charge... Nothing remains......
Regarding the 'cave' /'den' north and west from Tom's Thumb with the 'sand painting' and all the tchotchke's in it - I cannot vouch for ITS condition since about 6 months ago when it remained intact.

Yep, I took some friends up to Tom's Thumb a few weeks ago for their first time with promises of visiting both Miner's Camp and Ogre's Den. Both have been cleaned out. The path to Ogre's Den now has cholla balls intentionally placed along the path as an obstacle.
Hated to see these fun little side trip areas destroyed.
