Ultimate Urban Hike

So I went for a quick hike up North Mountain this afternoon and was wondering if anyone has put together the ultimate urban hike/death march in Phoenix. Looks like between Trail 100 and Trail 25 and then other assorted trails around the North Mountain Preserve one could hit four urban peaks in one long hike. Start at the parking lot on 7th Ave & Peoria, hit North Mountain, take Trail 100 down to Squaw Peak, back up to Lookout Mtn, head over to Shaw Butte and finish off where you started. It would be a long day, but could be fun. Might be a good training day for anyone thinking about a Grand Canyon R2R.

Here is the Ultimate Urban Hike. My plastic was melting and almost died.
With my wife
Stuart Weitzman to Saks 5th Avenue to Macy's to Hyde Park at Biltmore Fashion Park then to
Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom's. Sephora and Barneys at Scottsdale Fashion Park.
Then the Apple Store and Eddie V's at Scottsdale Quarter for dinner with the Hot Godiva Chocolate Cake for dessert.
Want me to submit my GPS track?
I will take an R2R2R over this anyday.
You are not man enough to even attempt this hike.

I've done Squaw to Lookout and back a couple of times. Ended up with 22-25 miles. Its kinda fun to try and follow Trail 25 through the golf course. There are trail signs but they are difficult to spot.

I've had this one planned out for the longest time, but I'm still waiting for the right time to execute it.

9L and I were discussing this the other day and gave it some thought…he suggested:
"Start at the west end and hit Lookout, Shaw & North Mountain in no particular order. Then take trail 100 and summit Stoney Mountain. Continue hiking east and hit Squaw & Peak 2429. I think that is all of them. Anything else will require driving and we want to avoid that. Would be a big hiking day but is very doable!"

I'm down! wait....is that the exact idea that Tricksy just posted?!
@Patrick L looks like you and I have a friday planned out for us now!

Well now I'm tempted to put together the first phase of this hike within the next few weeks. Thinking about starting at 7th & Peoria, head up the back of North Mountain, go over to Lookout Mountain for the circumference trail and then the peak. Finish off by heading back over to North Mountain Preserve and go up Shaw Butte and end back where we started.
