What's up with all the bighorn sightings in the Supes recently. I've never seen such a flurry of them on HAZ. I know Fish & Game has been doing some population work up north but that's a long way away. What gives?

CannondaleKid was just telling me he saw a cluster of four of them about four miles from Peralta TH today. Snuck right up on them ...

Outlander posted this in a triplog for Woolsey Peak. I was surprised that they typically gather in such large numbers. Assuming it is true, it might partly explain why there have been so many spotted recently. I personally think it would be cool if there's a large and healthy herd out there!
The sheep herd up there is paltry: only three were spotted on this occasion. Herds of less than 50 individuals typically go extinct within seven years, according to AGFD biologists.

I understand that they thrive on apple cores, banana and orange rinds, candy wrappers, cheetos, granola bars and beer cans such as Keystone....
PS - And that they love to have their photographs taken while butting saguaros... ;)

@SuperstitionGuy
You forgot left over burritos, shell casings, cig butts and random pieces of clothing.
