Hey Im thinkin of taking Dugas from the 17 to verde hot springs this weekend. is it a rough slow going road in spots or pretty smooth going the whole way down. How bout the rim down? Looking to avoid pinstripping as well. gonna camp somewhere out there saturday night and maybe make a loop back towards CC rd. we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the insight

I think from the rim down it's ATVable, a larger rig would get a great case of pinstripping.
This the most recent article I know of......a bit wordy but with some pics.

You know the pinstriping is in that truck's near future. You might as well not worry inevitable.

Road blocked by medium sized boulder and Toyota with broken front axle. Otherwise normal feces show. If they ever clear the flotsam and jetsam please do not drive this unless you are experienced with a solid modified rig.
