Somehow I don't think parenting classes are going to be quite enough. Maybe I'm going out on a limb but I'll bet the system will see this child again.

At this point I would like if Ambika could tell us the story of what she saw one time in summer on the trail in GC--not sure if it was on the BA or SK. Better told in her own words--the baby she saw had died of the heat, unbeknownst to its parents who apparently were glad it was no longer screaming, and hadn't checked to see why, to see if it was still actually alive. It wasn't.

"Wero's still on probation for the above-mentioned assault case, but the Arizona U.S. Attorney's office decided not to revoke his probation based on the Grand Canyon incident."
Really?!?!
"After pleading guilty, Wero and Lake, a U.S. Army veteran, were also fined $75 and ordered to take parenting classes."
That's it?!? :tt: Yep, they will be in the news sometime again.

Fortunately, a few rotten apples really don't spoil the whole barrel. I just wish there were more effective ways of dealing with them.

Coring and paring would be a good start.
