There was a dead bear next to the Beeline near the pass at Mt. Ord.

I almost hit a bear on the way home from work tonight. I'm glad the guy behind me wasn't following too close, because I really slammed on the breaks. It was crossing near an intersection of two busy 4-lane county highways.

Jersey bears have no respect for authority. They can't be bothered with rules and regulations.

It was actually headed away from the Dunkin Donuts (about 150 yards away), so maybe it had already eaten. Of course every bear has always already just eaten, just as every bear is always ready for dinner.

Oh my gosh, I am very very sorry. I did know they were government employees. :scared:
