Just heard a fire reported a couple miles SE of Clint's Well, 34.523, -111.2744. Two crews and a helicopter dispatched.
Does the AZT have to burn every year?

Hmmm, not yet on inciweb

Forests in AZ should burn every year, they'd be much healthier. :M2C:

Email alert to residents in the blue ridge area from the blue ridge ranger station:
About 2 hours ago one of our lookouts called in a fire. It is called the East Fire and is located south of East Clear Creek, and just NE of Jones Crossing. It is approximately 3 + acres, and there are 3 engines, and 2 hotshot crews on the fire right now. The smoke is drifting onto Highway 87, but at this time is posing no problem. No structures are threatened, and our fire crews have got a pretty good handle on it. I just wanted to let you all know in case you started hearing rumors or such things! Thanks for your time, Jeannie

Any word on the fire today? It was windy yesterday and last night for a while.

Probably good news that this named "East Fire" has not yet transferred to the InciWeb .. http://www.inciweb.org/ Incident Information System website.
