I have been lurking here for a few years , first time post.
Watched the 1969 movie Easy Rider last night, IMHO it has not aged well... At one point
the actors overnight at an Anasazi ruin, build a fire inside it , climb on top and lean against the walls. Other than that they
were respectful of it :-)

I think the ruin may be near monument valley . Does anyone know what ruin site it was filmed at ?

Really enjoy the HAZ site and am loking forward to spending more time in AZ.

Oh, but didn't Jack just steal the show. especially the pot smoking scene? I seem to recall that was his first major role. Way better actor than either Fonda or Hopper, in my opinion.

I love Jack Nicholson. He is such a rascal!

He was in The Monkee's "Head" before that. (Wrote it also.) :)

Which he and Rafelson used to propel themselves into creating "Easy Rider" ...

How about this, where Jack stole the show...what a great actor. Not to mention how completely it captures the particular type of event being portrayed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgiQPdPUNvs

Nicholson was in the original Little Shop of Horrors... if I recall correctly... the pain seeker dental patient?
