The thing that got me wasn't that they did a water dive, but that it was a 2000 foot (600m) dive. (Or whatever the tech term is for that ...)

I have a couple of ebooks on the mexican cave systems. Read up on this a while back.

Cave diving is another, real dangerous, level. I consider that stuff epic.

And the 600m sump was sump 9 so add it to the other 8 and the whole feat is definitely impressive!
