(Posted July 10, 2013, at 8:22 p.m.) One lane in each direction has reopened along State Route 87 between the Bush Highway and the junction with State Route 188. A brush fire closed the highway around 5 p.m.

Drivers may still experience delays because one southbound and one northbound lane remain closed along a 35-mile stretch between mileposts 199-235, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Motorists looking for an alternate route may take US 60 east to SR 188 north to reconnect with SR 87.
