Three Rivers to Whitehorse Hill, and beyond?

Hike up Three Rivers Trail (in NM) to the Crest Trail. From there, it might be Whitehorse Hill, or maybe on to the Ski area, or just one of the other higher peaks near the Crest Junction. Plan on 11 to 15 miles round trip. Meet at 900 AM at the trailhead. Water, color?, bears?, pretty colors? Who knows?

I'd like to use this route for Sierra Blanca one day. Looking forward to seeing your triplog/photos.

Provided the USFS isn't able to keep me out, I plan to hike from the TH (or just in front of a locked gate at the campground) to the Lookout Mountain at the ski resort. Round trip, I believe it is 25 miles. I may keep playing with the day, as the forecast changes, but so far, Friday looks like the best for wind and temps.
