I'm planning to drive up Mormon mountain on Thursday 9-26 using Fr 240, 132A and Fr 648 to just before the radio towers where the Kachina trail meets 648. I am wondering if anyone has had recent first hand experience with road conditions. My uncle is coming to town and renting a sedan and I'd like to know if it will make it so I don't have to fill up the SUV.

Roads are in OK condition. There may be a few blowdowns on the roads though. I heard a few when I was up there.

The road up can get moderate traffic so I would think it be terrible. Slow going in a car but nothing you couldnt get past
