White Tanks

Thinking about pulling out my hiking boots again and doing a fast paced hike in the White Tanks this weekend. Leaning towards Ford Canyon with a side trip up to Barry Goldwater or the radio towers. Meet around 6-6:30AM at the trailhead by ramada #9 off of Ford Canyon Rd. Any takers?

Anyone know how often they patrol the summit (Goldwater) if ever?

I've been up there a few times, never had any issues. You might want to read all of the old trip reports to see if anyone else has run into anything.

Been up on the peaks around there about 3 times and have never seen anyone. It's always been on the weekend though...

I've ran into workers several times up there and I've never had any problems. Just be respectful and you shouldn't have a problem.
