Canyoneering in november / december

Hello,

With my girlfriends, we plan to come to Arizona in the late november, early december. We never did canyoneering, but we would like to try, Thus, we are beginners, 26 and 33 years old, relatively fit. We have no gear for canyoneering. We are looking for a good canyon, relatively easy, but well interesting, and where we can have fun... accompagned by a guide. Do you have some ideas where we can find what we are looking for ?

Thanks,

Juke Box

Pariah Canyon from Wire Pass to Lee's Ferry, http://hikearizona.com/decoder=391 , sounds like the perfect introduction to canyoneering for neophyte canyoneers provided there hadn't been any significant rainfall in the weeks prior to the hike. No special equipment is required, but you'll get a good feel for what canyoneering has to offer. Oh yeah, don't forget Cathedral Wash, http://hikearizona.com/decoder=940, while you're in the neighborhood.

Canyons in most of the northern half of the state will likely be cold / wet / muddy that time of year, I'd stick to the low southern deserts, areas like the Superstitions. Few if any AZ canyons are "easy". Some possibilities:
