Sunset hike to Siphon Draw

Me and some chaps from work are hiking up to Siphon Draw (Note: just to the Siphon Draw, the slick rock/waterfall area, not to the top) this evening. We are meeting at the Dash-In on the apache trail just before you get to the Lost Dutchman park entrance, at 3:30pm. Should be a nice sunset to hike down under.
Anyone interested, please show up. I'll be in the olive green ford expedition.

Here are pics from the hike. It turned out to be just my wife, CJ (the dog), and me.

Absolutely gorgeous... wish I could've made it to experience it first hand. Thank you for sharing.

Very bodacious. Did you have to hike down in the dark??

We got back to the trailhead just as it was getting fully dark. We had flashlights, just in case, but never pulled them out.

Daryl,
Really nice slide show

.
Loos like you are good with the camera.
What type of camera did you used ?
Did you use a filter for the sunset shots ?

Probably more luck then good with the camera.
the camera is a sony cybershot 3.3 I think. No filter. On a few of the pictures I experimented and set the auto focus and adjustments on a lighted area, then pointed it at the sunset and snapped the picture so the camera wouldn't adjust for the light from the sun and make everything too dark. I can't tell you which pictures were those, but I remember I liked the results.
I'm by no means a pro, like others here, I just take a lot of pictures and delete the ones I don't like. The beauty of a digital camera...
