Your Complete Guide to the Arizona National Scenic Trail will soon be available to Arizona Trail Association members and for sale to the general public!

This 320-page resource is the most comprehensive guidebook to the Arizona Trail ever compiled, featuring:
• Detailed descriptions of each of the 43 passages between Mexico and Utah
• Topographic maps to help you find your way
• Elevation profiles showing ups and downs of the trail
• Directions to trailheads and alternate access points
• Turnaround Notes for day-hikers
• Mountain Bike Notes for fat-tire enthusiasts
• Inspiring photographs

In addition to on-the-trail descriptions, this amazing resource includes:
• Water Sources
• Geology of Arizona
• Botany along the Arizona Trail

Guidebook Release Party!

The ATA will be hosting two events- be among the first to get a fresh copy of the new guidebook, "Your Complete Guide to the Arizona National Scenic Trail"!

Stop by Summit Hut (5045 E. Speedway Blvd.) in Tucson December 21 between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. or REI-Tempe (1405 W. Southern Ave. Tempe, AZ 85282) on December 22 between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. for special Guidebook Release Events. Talk with some of the book’s authors and photographers, and get your book signed.

Complimentary copies of the book are available to any members of the ATA who have joined or renewed at the $100 and above membership levels within the past seven months. Contributing writers and photographers also receive a complimentary copy. Books will be for sale for $25.95 plus tax.

On a personal note, I am so excited to see this project finished and can't wait to hold the book in my hands! Hope to see a bunch of HAZers out at both these events.

Just got the books in at the office and they are beautiful!! It is so exciting to see this project completed. See you at the release parties this weekend!

Sirena-
Expect to stop by about 4:30, (Goin’ to get me a copy!) hope there’s someone around that wants to “talk trail”.

Trivia question: How many copies of the New Arizona Trail Guidebook would fit in a Large Flat Rate bounce box? :y:
