Fire east of Kingman?

I just got back from a week in Vegas (visiting family, not getting toasted). On the drive south on 93, it looked mighty hazy to the southeast. When I started driving east on 40, the distance got even hazier. That range just east of where 93 turns south (towards Wikiup) from 40 was almost invisible due to haze. Looked smoky, not sandy, and besides there is no sand up there like Casa Grande. Skies clear by the time I got to Wikiup. Anybody have any info?

I'd be willing to bet it's a prescribed burn.
