Nailed my location (southeastern Wisconsin) perfectly, despite me answering "not have that word" several times ...

Just realized I could link to the map: http://nyti.ms/1cijuCq

Your is similar to mine, with secondary hot spots in Arizona. Must be because all the snow birds move here ... :D

Was born in Grand Rapids MI and grew up in and around Detroit, the test had me pegged. Even though I quit saying pop and switched to calling it soda when I moved to Arizona 30 years ago.

I learned to stop saying "pop" about that long ago. I can't think of another word that will so easily peg a stranger. It's odd, because it's not as big a deal around here to be a stranger as in some places I've been.

I've lived in Arizona for 7-8 teenage/adult years. The 14-15 years in California can probably be waived.

I've taken that test a couple times as there are some different questions, and every time, my top two locations are in Arizona. I've had a couple weird ones in the midwest and even Reno (likely due to one particular answer in the quiz). Sure enough, I've had zero results in California.

I just quit saying pop because nobody down in Tucson knew what I was talking about other than my parents and the church I attended full of Michigan transplants.

I'm sort of a rarity here in AZ. I'm a born and raised Phoenician :o That's right, I've never lived anywhere but Phoenix, Arizona :y:

You could draw a 20 mile circle around from where I was born till now :D

And I've always called it "SODA" ;)

I've spent at least a year in six different states:

WI = 25
AZ = 14
CA = 4
NC = 3
OH = 2
GA = 1

Tied at six along with you: MI, OH, PA, NM, ID and AZ. But I've moved back to AZ more than anyone else I know. My last move was the fourth time I moved to AZ. I try to leave and keep coming back.

It gave me Phoenix, Salt Lake City or Fresno. That's about right.
I've lived in AZ and CA the longest. But also TX (I'm an anchor baby with dual citizenship), WA, VA, NJ, DC, GA, FL. And spent considerable time in WI. So I'm not sure how SLC got into my results.

Hahaha...I guess I spent too much time in MN. The only way it was correct was that it pegged me in the "West". The three Cities it narrowed me down to were Salt Lake City, Reno, and Santa Rosa, CA, with the strongest influence centered in Utah. I've never been to any of those Cities, although close to all at one time. So I must be a Closet Mormon who Gambles and lives on the Beach, lol. In reality, I'm a Native Arizonan who spent 14 Years in MN in my 20's and 30's. I wonder if it has to do with your Parents influence? My mother moved around alot as a Kid...

That is odd, I took the test and it never told me where it thought I was from.
