Sedona: Pass between Bear Sign & Dry Creek canyons?

I'm looking at connecting the ends of two canyon trails in Sedona: Bear Sign Canyon #59 and Dry Creek Canyon #52, finding a short off-trail connection over the saddle between two steep canyon heads. (My question will make much more sense if you look at the map below.) I'm asking if anyone knows whether my proposed route in green is doable, or has been done, or any other information. The topo map makes it look at least possible, but that can be deceiving.

Thanks!

A route over that saddle has not been posted but I've considered it on several occasions. Looks reasonable, perhaps thick vegetation east of the saddle. I'd imagine an excellent opportunity to see a bear if you are quiet.

Well, I made it over the saddle today. It's possible, though not easy. Extremely thick manzanita, steep slopes, and loose rocks on the west side made the up-trip somewhere between unpleasant and dangerous. Coming down the east side was considerably easier -- a lot less brush on the route I took.

Found a few cairns on either side of the saddle, well past where their respective trails end, but below the steep canyon walls of either side. I imagine placed by hunters.
