This is a great idea

I just ask, no, I beg everyone to not post scores

I've tried watching on my phone but the buffering DRIVES ME MAD!!
Please and thank you

Are they showing reruns? Wouldn't that interfere with 24/7/365 NFL and NASCAR?

Can you tell me who won this cup of yours this past weekend? On the off chance I meet some foreign visitor this week and need a topic for idle chatter.

So this "event" is over? America won? Trying to figure out what the big deal is. ;)

@SpiderLegs
The winner of the FIFA World Cup 2014 won't be known til July 13. It would be nice to see USA in this match but very little chance of that happening

.... But they weren't suppose to win any matches

Soooooo, we'll see

Still have to play Portugal (6/22) and Germany (6/26) to complete this round. Chances don't look good.

From FIFA website - "FIFA World Cup is the world's most widely viewed sporting event; an estimated 715.1 million people watched the final match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany and the 2010 event in South Africa was broadcast to 204 countries on 245 different channels. Inside the stadiums, a total of 3,170,856 spectators attended the 64 matches an average of 49,670 per match and the third highest aggregate attendance behind USA 1994 and Germany 2006."
It's kind of a big deal

@SpiderLegs I know, I know

Baseball, basketball and football are the only sports worth watching... I get it... I've heard that for 4 days now and I'll have to hear it until the middle of July ;) Then myself and 3/4 of plant earth will go back to normal

Whoa...what?? This thing is just starting and isn't over yet?
Enjoy and I will attempt to stop trolling. My own brother has been infected with this madness. He won the ticket lottery and is down in Brazil watching the games in person.

You brother has his priorities straight: Brazilian girls in string bikinis on the beach beat a Chicago side of beef in a Bears jersey any day ,,,

We grew up outside of Detroit, think chunky gearheads in Lions jerseys.
This will make your wife happy. My brother joined a contingent of our Dutch relatives, so he's cheering for the men in orange.
