This hike will be into Haunted Canyon with the destination of the camp spot near Tony Cabin. Start time is 9:00AM at the Haunted Canyon Trailhead. It will be a Spooktacular event and Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged. Once there we can enjoy the area for awhile, eat lunch and hunt for "The Cave of a Thousand Eyes". Round Trip is a little under 12 miles and around 1600 feet of AEG.

This is a Wilderness so group size must be capped at 15.

Gotta love Halloween in Haunted Canyon, Blanco got a little spooked by this guy last year..

JJ you might want to let everyone know it will be hunting season, that will also make restrictions for group sizes no larger then 15 much easier to adhere to ;)

I'm considering packing in on Friday and then hiking out with everyone Saturday. Anyone else have Fridays off?

This is the same day as this event http://www.hilloweenhillclimb.com/?page_id=95

so if you do this hike 13.4 times you'll have about the same aeg as last years winner. It would probably be pretty hard to do it in the required 8 hours though :)
