Superstition Wilderness Trip

Hello all!
I am visiting AZ for the first time and would like to go on a multi-day trip in the Superstition Wilderness. However, since I am unfamiliar with the area and on my own here, I am not too comfortable with going on my own into the area and transportation is an issue because I am not keen on paying for a rental car to sit around for days while I am hiking. I thought I was going to go it on my own but after doing some more reading and research online I have become kinda nervous about it
If anyone is planning a trip for 2-4 days in the next week and is interested in having an extra companion please let me know. My schedule is very flexible. I am staying with family in Tempe and can get transportation to Apache Junction or another location closer to the Superstition Area.
A bit about me: My name is Chris. I am 26 and in good shape for hiking. I hail from Traverse City, MI. I have all necessary gear including pack, tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, cooking equipment, headlamp, water treatment tabs...in short, I am well prepared for a trip and will not be overly dependent or mooching on you for supplies or gear. Other interests include environmental issues and playing music.
