Hey folks! Hoping to recruit a few more helping hands for a trail work event this Sunday, April 12th.
To RSVP for this event, you must send an email to Moira Alexander (Steward, Passage 10) at arizonatrail10@gmail.com.
April 12th - Passage 10 from Molino Basin Campground
Arizona Trail Association Segment Steward Moira Alexander and Regional Steward Jeff Bridge are hosting a work event to knock back berms, improve the tread and brushing & pruning to maintain trail corridor requirements on AZT Passage 10.
We will meet at 8:00 AM at the AZT parking area in the campground. From there we'll pick up tools and head out on the trail, working west toward Gordon Hirabayashi Campground. Elevation at Molino Basin Campground is 4500 ft and the possible elevation gain/loss is no more than 500 ft.
Bring gloves, hat, sun screen, etc. and protective clothing (long sleeves and pants recommended when doing trail work) snack, lunch and plenty of water. We’ll plan to work till around 1:00 PM and then hike back to the vehicles. RSVP to Moira at arizonatrail10@gmail.com for additional details (including directions).
Hope to see you out there!
