This a good site for anyone interested in some of the things in AZ. There is a geology section, arizona astronomy, and general pictures. My husband has designed and maintains it.

Thanks for posting your URL! The geology on your website is fantastic. Go you teach a class?
Your writeups reminded me of: "Hiking Arizona's Geology" by Ivo Lucchitta . I went to Amazon to get the URL for that book and was reading the reviews and noticed a "read from Payson" gave it a tremendous review. Was that you?

Well, anyway, the primary question here in this post is: Do you lead hikes to some of the geological sites of interest described on your site? We'd be real interested in the one you describe here:

I have always been fascinated by the Martin and the Tapeats. There are some outcrops of both along the Verde River Wild and Scenic corridor that look so totally out of place. Some Martin ledges are responsible for one of the "most fun" surfing rapids down there, "White Flash," it's called.

Well, thanks for the tremendous amount of time and effort you have put into your website!
