I got a permit to hike Aravaipa for 4 people but can longer go. It's for the east entrance, enter and exit date is May 17th. If anyone wants it, let me know and maybe I can email it to you.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not 100% sure BLM allows them to be transferred, meaning my name is on the permit. If I was a ranger though I think I'd let it slide, given the explanation.

Not if it's the same ranger they had a couple of years ago. I'd call to find out first.

I finally got a call back from the Safford BLM office. I CAN give the permit away if anybody wants it. Let me know. Thanks.

That's nice of you, I wish I could take you up on it but have other plans! I haven't been out that way yet.
