I LOVE that area, you get Cedar Mesa views but you add real TREES!RedRoxx44 wrote:How timely, I signed, and I plan to be driving 'tween the Bears' Ears in about a week.
I completely concur with CK. I spent a few days in the bowels of Dark Canyon back in aught '05, http://hikearizona.com/photoset.php?ID=15678&start=30, and I was so blown away by the area I plan on DC being the "final resting spot" for half of my ashes (Death Hollow being the site for the other half) when "my time comes". BTW, if there are any readers of this distinguished forum who'd like to explore DC, then I could easily be talked into another trip to DC before THEN.CannondaleKid wrote:We loved Dark Canyon...
I hope you had better luck than I did. I tried on Saturday (5/16) and the other side of the Bear's Ears was too muddy. So much for 4 days in Wooden Shoe/Dark Canyon...RedRoxx44 wrote:How timely, I signed, and I plan to be driving 'tween the Bears' Ears in about a week.
