Property Damage at Water Wheel

Over the weekend I had visitors from Phoenix who wanted to see Ellison Creek Cascades/ Water Wheel on Saturday. As I got out of my vehicle a young black female and young white female both in their 20s with 2 small children parked next to me in a red Dodge Neon and proceeded to ask me if I had any weed I could sell them. I was unable to help and sent them away empty handed. Minutes later they were gone and had keyed my vehicle on their way out. Needless to say, I drove right into Payson and scoured every single parking lot in town looking for this red Neon but no luck. This is a long shot but if anyone happens to know of anyone fitting their description who visited the area over the weekend, feel free to drop me a line so these idiots can be dealt with. I hate being a victim of cowardly stuff like this and would gladly drive down to the valley to collect what is owed to me. Thank you.

What exactly does somebody injuring themselves have to do with assholes keying a car?

@Outdoor Lover This is why I avoid these busy weekend places. Just wanted to be a gracious host and this is my reward. I also noticed the rescue efforts getting underway for the injured photographer which happened to be all the way at the cascades.
@Tough_Boots Ha...I didn't have any to begin with.

@The N
I'm more concerned that you live and hike in AZ and your car is not already pin striped enough to negate a little keying ;)
You gotta get out on some more AZ FRs, those key marks will be the least of your worries!
Kids wrote 420 into the side of my car at work, just made me laugh lol

Like The N said, just about all the Crap and Chaos that goes with those places on a Weekend...I avoid those Places like the Plague on the Weekends and if I absolutely have to go, I go extremely early and am done before all the Idiots arrive...I've never known there to be Problems like he experienced and that surprises me, although it shouldn't, since it's so close to a Major Town. And it's about as Accessible as you can get for the Masses, including people that are apparently trying to Score some Drugs and people unprepared for Hiking along and Boulder Hopping a Creek. I have a Love/Hate Relationship with that Place, kind of like the Salt River. I love the Area and can't stand the Garbage and some of the Characters that show up there....

@friendofThundergod You are absolutely correct. Unfortunately I just got this one. Didn't even have brush scratches yet. The loaner vehicle they had me driving around for a week definitely came back a little scratched up though. Besides, it's the principal of the matter. I hate being sneak attacked like that. If you want confrontation with me go ahead and bring it to my attention and be upfront about it, then I can live with the outcome.

Oh no! Just so you know not making light of it, came home to a home burglary myself last year after a weekend of hiking and camping...I can relate to the frustration with the lower forms of life that unfortunately do reside on this earth..
