Noobie looking for some overnight trips!

Hello,

I am new-ish to the area (Central Phoenix) and looking for some overnight backpacking hikes for my wife and I.

Preferably:
7-12 mi loop or 6 in --> camp --> 6 back
Water access
Not barren wide open desert

Let me start by saying I sincerely appreciate any help/advice/recommendations you may have to offer!! I have been searching the web for recommended overnight backpacking trips, and now hours later I frustrated and have no idea where to go. A gentleman at "AZ Hiking Shack" turned me on to this site and for that I am thankful.

We hiked the West Fork Trail last weekend and finally put it down for the night about 6.8 mi past the trailhead. I have to say if anyone has not yet made this trip, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!! Definitely in the top 3 most beautiful things I've seen in my life, no exaggeration.

Any help is more than appreciated!!

Thank you

Later in the season Peralta TH to Charlebois Spring although not as much water here! A really non-Arizonaish spot about 3/4 of the way to Charlebois.

You may or may not be familiar with 'Traildex', ( http://hikearizona.com/traildex.php ) where you can refine your 'druthers (Season, Distance, Feature(s), etc.) and the ap/program will whittle the vast HAZ list of hikes/backpacks down to ones that fit your criteria.
