Wasps on Passage 16

ATA received the following hiker report:
". . .the short section of the AZT from the Florence/Kelvin Trailhead to the Gila River Trailhead.
Shortly after leaving the Florence/Kelvin Trailhead, and crossing the highway, about 2/10th of a mile from the highway, the trail makes a sharp right around a saguaro. We were startled to find the saguaro full of wasps, about chest height in a cavity. We were both stung about 4-5 times before we could get out of range. Thank the Lord neither of us are sensitive to wasp stings, and now, 8 hours later, they are only a "minor" inconvenience."
Be alert, there are all kinds of critters out there.
