South Mountain Trail Names

I was just looking at the Google Map of SoMo trails and noticed a couple I've never heard of before. I wonder where the big G gets data from for such things?

The official SoMo map published by Phoenix Parks and Rec does not have these trails on them.

Google has a trail mapped called Old Man Trail. It corresponds with what is marked on HAZ as Corona de Loma - East.

On the other end is the Young Man Trail, which Trekkin Gecko created a HAZ page for just last month.

Between the two, Google has a mapped trail called Midlife Crisis. It runs the crest of Guadalupe Ridge and is so titled here on HAZ.

Since none of these appear on the actual park map, where does Google come up with the names from?
Bing doesn't have the trails, nor does mapquest, yahoo or here. OpenStreetMap has Old Man and some of the official trails.

And Midlife Crisis runs into another new one ... Scott Ridge Trail before dropping to Marcos di Niza. :-k

@chumley
marcos de niza is an official somo trail
I consider Guadalupe ridge to encompass midlife crisis and scott ridge
none of which are official
I don't know where any of those other names came from
seem to remember a discussion of old man and young man in the forum a few years ago

Could those be the names that mountain bikers know the trails as?

There's another trail on Google Maps that's unnamed and connects Midlife Crisis to Hidden Valley. I noticed this last April and promptly went and hiked all the trails. I was wondering about the names also, as well as the fact that these trails were obviously built deliberately. Why aren't they official (yet)?

That trail isn't marked on Google under any name.
