Sunday, Dec 6 meeting at the Vntana a Canyon TH at 7 AM. I'd like to do my favorite Catalina hike. This STRENUOUS hike will connect Pontatoc Canyon to Ventana Canyon. We'll visit Gorp peak and the Window along the way. 3 miles of this adventure will be off-trail bushwacking amongst shindaggers, manzanita, and other poky shrubbery. It will be a steady up-hill battle from the get-go. This will be a long day. We will likely being hiking out after dark.

If you do not answer the questions, I may remove you from the hike. So please be sure you see the questions and answer them appropriately.

Stats: Approximately 15 miles/5000 ft accumulated elevation gain.

We will have to organize car shuttle so we will all meet at the Ventana Canyon trailhead and then take a car or two over to the Finger Rock trailhead.

Bring:

lots of food

4-5 liters of water

warm clothes

sun gear

headlamp - REQUIRED!!!!

What do you mean-- An african or european swallow?

@Tough_BootsLOL, forgot to remove that part - I make people answer questions on the Meetup site because I can't just look at their triplog a to see how much of bad pumpkins they are...
