It won't be an official cult until a group of members sacrifice their lives in the name of the cult leader. That of course, is Hikebot!

Alternately a large group of hikers could walk off a cliff in San Diego while staring at their phones loyally following a RouteScout track. It brings a whole new meaning to "Let's get out"

While receiving worldwide news coverage investigators will try to figure out how this horrible tragedy occurred and the sounds of Joe singing the roadrunner song will be dubbed over television showing a slide show of the HAZ selfie label photos.

In a global broadcast, CNN will conclude that "these nuts no longer inhabiting the planet is really a positive for the rest of mankind."
