Looking for someone to hike/backpack with in North Phoenix

A couple of you suggested getting some more basic hikes and overnighters in before jumping into multi day backpacking. Looking for someone to hike with and show me the ropes. I am in 25 and live in Cave Creek.

The best way is to just stay active on HAZ by continuing to view what's going on and to participate with forum posts, commenting a/r, posting your triplogs, pic sets, and etc. This way over time you will have an opportunity to know others with like interests and visa versa

I did see this. I will be heading to Colorado in May to try my hand as a river guide though. Not sure I want to join just yet.
