due to health reasons. Historically, what have you guys done in your "stir crazy, I have to hike times?"
Read about hikes, plan more hikes, look back at your photos, cry?

This is embarrassing but when I am sick or injured, I can't come here. I get depressed and jealous...
I think I've turned the corner and am going to try and at least do a few miles on the trails adjacent to my house this weekend and see how it goes.

Have you considered car camping? Photography? Animal watching? Culture walks? Airplane graveyards? etc.? Lots of non-hiking options here too! :GB:

You have heard of people watching in Walmart stores but have you ever sat on one of the outside benches at Tortilla Flat and observed the winter visitors, motorcycle folks and local yokels. Sometimes it is more hilarious than Walmart.

;) :whistle: Give it a try after driving Apache Trail next time. Just sayin...l

I usually try to focus on lifting or other stuff at the gym. If not, then I gaze wistfully at other people's triplogs on HAZ.

@Tough_Boots
not yet. it has been a rough few days following my wilderness run, but I have been finding solace in beer and snark-asm at the Wildernips and other such worthy venues.

Originally thought to have an inguinal hernia but it appears to have just been a very bad groin strain. It's better but I'm not sure this weekend is in the cards much more than the neighborhood trails, which I guess is something...
