Solar Gear Weight Dilemma

I'm having a meltdown over weight issues versus practicality with my Goal Zero Venture 30 Kit.
My dry pack weight is finally down to 12.1 lbs. without solar.
The panel is 18 ozs. and the charge pack is 10 ozs.(2 to 3 phone charges when full)
My power needs are based on using my android for everything from navigation to kindle reading and camera etc.
I can use either unit independently or use both
There are no cables etc. as the usb connectors are included.
I am starting nobo. soon and have 8 weeks to make it all the way. I plan to take it real easy ,enjoy lots of side trips etc. hotels maybe once a week .
My first thought was of course ,leave the panel at home and suck it up if I can't have a bedtime story . :(
But then I thought of those long treks between TH's and my epic 10 -15 mile days .....
Am I over thinking this ???
All constructive ;) comments greatly appreciated

For how long of a Trip?
Assuming over 3 days...

My Portable Battery charges my Android 3.5x which is plenty for 4 days

A compass and some topo maps I downloaded .
Is there a standard thru hiker topo map(s) that you could recommend ?
I am from out of country and I also have age related dyslexia when it comes to figuring out the topo maps on site.
