Sometimes I stare out my office window, shake my head at the absurdity I encounter, smile and laugh.

Arizona is an awesome state for outdoorsing. Less time should be spent staring at a screen within these concrete walls!

I stare out my office window at South Mountain, which itself provides a pretty good vantage point for observing the absurdity you refer to ...

I am glued to my seat typing essays when I'm not at my employment. I take occasional (privately entered on HAZ, thank you) boring hikes on Page Rim trail, plus I have my amazing part time job in Glen Canyon. But I'm graduating in 11 days, and after that I'm gonna go for it! Arizona watch out! Oh, and Utah, too!

As I was setting up my "office" at our home, I selected a location where I can look out the window...... and I can see the Superstition Ridgeline from Flatiron to 5057, yep, looking at it right now

Oh nevermind. My doctor just called and told me I wasn't supposed to mix those two medications.

I do like that if I look out my lil' backyard at home/work, it looks like there are no other houses or buildings, just open desert and sky in that direction.
That is if you ignore the 4 AM radio towers. Fun fact, if you halfway plug in any audio jack in the house, the speakers, whether powered or not, broadcast that station. Also during storm (like the other day), any lightning ground strike within say 10miles, tries to return up into the sky via those towers; they pop and crackle with every strike, and when it's dark you can see the blue sparks on the guideline cables where they mount to the towers and ground.

I sell toys... so I kind of enjoy work. Hiking, fishing, or just exploring makes me feel like a kid away from work.

I love the outdoors and exploring what I can in this world and breathing the fresh air. It makes me feel young and free. Also, watching a teenager fall off a skateboard tends to put me in a good mood too.

My "office" is a Park, with lake and mountain views - so yeah I am pretty happy at work!
Personally I was happier at Grand Canyon, but professionally I am by far the happiest I've ever been right now.
