Wanted to also get this posted here. It has been posted on the Arizona Trail App, Mesa District has been notified, and also hopefully soon something on the main page of the Arizona Trail.

From Rogers Trough TH heading N. roughly 1.3-1.5 miles N. there is an active bee hive in a tree adjacent to the trail. This is as of 5-28-16. I hiked from Rogers Trough TH to Reavis Ranch to take care of some signage so thru hikers were not missing the right turn in Reavis Ranch. The bees are protecting their area, but when I hiked past it both times they only followed me for about .1 to .2 miles and went back to the hive.

I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware in case anyone was planning on going out there. I also left a note on the board at the TH so other hikers would be in the know.

Thank you,
AZT Regional Steward 16-19
