The NPS is looking to identify the two people in this article who were spray painting graffiti at Grand Canyon National Park.

Saw someone on one of the news stations comment section said "It is just paint what is everyone upset about it... It will wash off"

@Dschur
That's the reason I don't read those comment sections. I prefer to not be mad all the time!

People who say that kind of thing would usually react much differently if it were done to their own house or their car.

Yeah, but at least it's just paint.

@rcorfman ...Please, come join us at Yavapai for the next Clean Up and see how easy "just paint" comes off.

More graffiti as these two hikers were carving names into a tree. If you know them, please let NPS know.

There's more at Yavapai Point this year. Last two summers, on top of the wall a little to the east of the geology museum, there had been a place where someone wrote in nail polish. I had thought about bringing polish remover, but forgot. I did tell a ranger I thought she could do something about it but I guess she didn't. So, upshot is, this year that is where there is a lot of graffiti done in black marker.

I've been doing tours now about 3 - 4 days a week and have yet to see a ranger at Yavapai Point at one of the stops where I take my guests. I used to see them there all the time, especially two years ago. This is my third season as a tour guide.
