This is canyoneering. It's non-technical, but you will be in water ALL Day. There are narrow sections with deep pools where swimming is required so you'll want to have a way to keep essential gear dry.
This is an 8-mile trip. It is very slow. It will take a minimum of 8 hours.
It will be hot 105-110°.
There'll be some prickly off-trail desert at the start and finish.

Leaving the valley at 7:30a.
Afterward, the Round Valley Summer Sausage Festival offers sights and entertainment for the whole family.
