Greetings!

I'm 30 years old, female, and a relatively new hiker. I am in that searching-the-net-and-buying-the-books stage to find the real nice trails and hikes. I live in Gilbert and work in Scottsdale. Please read my profile. If you would like to make a new hiking friend, please email me. If you are experienced and would like to mentor a new comer, please email me. I work two jobs and time is tight, but I would like to know of upcoming hikes so I could join in on a few. I cited female partner in the title since I would like to make some new friends in the area to possibly do other "female" things with at other times (shopping, tea, etc.).

I am looking for hiking partners as well but live on the west side..... That can be a pain in the butt but we could get together if you would like.... We could take turns going from one side of the valley to the other!!!!

AzureAura, I forget under which topic but there is a group hike set up this weekend and clean-up at the Tonto Narrows. The hike itself is relatively free of elevatiopn change and goes to an outstanding swim spot; not to mention they are doing something good. I also noticed a few females are intending to particpate...it's this Sunday. If you look under the group hike listing, I'm sure it's there. I don't know how to set up links; sorry I didn't link it...
