Best segments for a mid-March hike?

I'm planning on doing about a 100-mile section in mid-March of 2017, and since I don't have any plans to thru-hike the Trail, my philosophy on these things is to do the best bits first. I have 40+ years of backpacking experience, much of it in desert, so technical challenges aren't really any concern, but I was wondering, at that time of year, and considering the segments from the Mexico border to the latitude of Phoenix, what is the best 100-mile piece, and why? I'd add that I will probably be operating from the Tucson or Phoenix airport, so reasonably easy access to start and end points is a plus. And I like ecologically interesting settings.

Why not just do the first seven sections? That's maybe 115 miles or so and through some very nice country. Lots of hills with phenomenal views.
