Peromyscus boylii

Habitat:Found throughout the Southwest and California, the Brush Deermouse inhabits arid and semi-arid brushland, especially rocky areas. Also found in areas with Oaks, Junipers and Pinyons.

Description:Brown or Grayish above, with Buff or Tawny sides and White below. Tail is longer than Head and Body with small tuft at the end. Ankles Dusky colored. Large Ears.

Comments:Does not hop more than 2 feet. A very skilled climber. Uses it's long tail as a Prop.
