Aspidoscelis sonorae

Habitat:Southeastern AZ from 3000 Feet to over 7000 Feet in Elevation. From Desert to Conifer Woodlands. Commonly found in Canyons, Drainages and Riparian areas, but also found in Valleys.

Description:Medium sized Lizard. Six Yellow/Cream Stripes and sparse scattering of Spots. The area between the two Dorsal Stripes almost always lack any Spots. Olive Brown Tail.

Comments:All Sonoran Spotted Whiptails are female (Parthenogenetic) Hatchlings are clones of the Mother.
