Psittacara mitrata

Also known as the mitred conure. It's a species of green and red parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is native to the forests and woodlands in the Andes from north-central Peru, south through Bolivia, to north-western Argentina, with introduced populations in California, Florida and Hawaii. They have a green plumage with various red plumage on their heads and thighs. They have a white eye rings.

It is social and typically seen in small flocks. They feed on fruits, nuts, and seeds. They are noisy and nest in cliffs. They were introduced to California, Florida, and Hawaii.
