Mammillaria Zeilmanniana

The mammillaria zeilmanniana is a powder puff cactus, but not all powder puff cacti are mammillaria zeilmanniana.

Mammillaria zeilmanniana is a species of plant in the Cactaceae family. It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitat is hot deserts.

Mammillaria zeilmanniana is a soft bodied, dark green globular plant and clusters of soft, hair-like white radial spines. Rings of reddish violet flowers are present most of the year. The mammillaria zeilmanniana does not have hooked central spines characteristic of other mammillaria (e.g., mammillaria microcarpa).
