Chilomeniscus stramineus

A ground dwelling snake that's black and orange. It's a small thick snake and looks similar to a ground snake and a shovel-nosed snake. It eats invertebrates. It resides in sandy washes and drainages and is nocturnal and can be seen at night on the roads.
