This is the start of the climb to Stewart Mountain, which is not yet visible. Peak 2961 is straight ahead, and on the right side of the photo you can see the ridge that goes up to Peak 2931. We would aim for the saddle between the two by going up the ridgeline just to the left of the gully that is seen in the right half of the photo.
