Taking Grasshopper's shortcut out of the canyon. I was too tired and overheated at this point to continue down the canyon to our original planned departure point at the confluence of Barbershop and Meritt Draw. So we decided to take this shortcut. Michael is keeping busy while they wait for me to crawl up the steep side of the canyon.
