I could tell it hasn't been a super moist monsoon as there were not a lot of mushrooms. But this one was very cool. I think it's a coral fungi, (possibly a stricta, but almost certainly in the genus ramaria) but HAZ fungi tagging is confusing, and I'm not even close to an expert on the topic.
